Back for another project, this same savvy investor of Toronto Real Estate approached us to turn the basement of one of his latest acquisitions into a legal suite. The undertaking wasn't without its challenges, and we faced water-damaged walls that needed immediate attention and repair. Also, there was a need to create a strategic opening in the load-bearing wall so that there was free flow throughout the basement. We included two egress windows so that safety issues per the city code could be met, coupled with the provision of natural light. This endeavour saw our team committed and determined, notwithstanding the challenges presented in this project. Because of such commitment, the owner returned to the site on completion day and was happy with the change she found there. Despite that, he continued trusting our capabilities by buying another property and again turning to us to legalize its basement. Our relationship with this investor is a testimony to the philosophy of trust, quality, and mutual respect, which is followed within our industry.
