A hard-working family—a husband with a background in large-scale construction and a wife who’s a dedicated registered nurse—entrusted us with their custom basement transformation. They wanted a blend of elevated boho and contemporary styles, with the husband favouring dark greens and the wife loving plants and light, airy spaces.
To balance their preferences, we used dark tones alongside warm wood accents and brass elements, creating a cozy yet spacious feel. Indoor plants added a refreshing, organic touch, tying the design together. The result is a stunning, functional basement that perfectly reflects their unique tastes and lifestyle—a true sanctuary for their family.
